Bells Allegri Miserere Praise Him uopn the Loud Cymbal The Mighty Organ The Trumpet Shall Sound Praise Him with the Harp
These paintings are inspired by the music at Tewkesbury Abbey. Also, the Abbey is famous for its roof bosses showing Angels playing musical instruments - another source of inspiration. For me, every piece of music that I hear is transformed into dynamic colours and shapes. So I have tried to paint the sounds that I see as a more abstract way of representing the musical instruments.
